Title: Member Benefits and Services

Representation: The FAEI makes representation on behalf of its members to Government - EU - Irish Aviation Authority - EASA European Air Safety Agency - Federal Aviation Administration - Media.

Committees: The FAEI have 6 Sub-Groups, each with its own Chair and Vice-Chairperson. Airworthiness Group, responsible for safety regulation. Education & Training Group, responsible for the training needs of the industry. Aircraft Financing Group, representing the leasing, financing and support services companies. Aerospace Software Group, representing software / IT solution companies and the Operators Group representing the Airlines.

Strategic Development: The FAEI published a report entitled "Flight Path to the Future" on 25th February 2004.

Events: The Federation host a number of events during the year where presentations are made on relevant and current issues - National and International seminars - Breakfast Meetings - Evening Receptions - Annual Golf Outing.

ASD: The FAEI are members of ASD - Aerospace and Defense Industries Association of Europe. ASD's main objective is to promote the competitive development of the European Aerospace Industry and represent the Industry on a European level in all matters of common interest.

Aerospace Enterprise: The Federation's twice yearly newsletter provides up to date information on the status of the industry in Ireland, gives members free advertising for their services and products - click onto News & Publications to download a copy. Aerospace Enterprise is widely circulated both in Ireland and abroad.

Social Outings: "It's not all work", the FAEI Annual Golf outing takes place every June. It's a fun day out for members, with Golf during the day, followed by dinner in the evening and an "Awards Ceremony".
